Mapon is seeking a passionate and visionary Head of Design to lead our growing design team. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind the user experience of our products, ensuring they are both beautiful and intuitive. You'll champion user-centric design, lead UX research initiatives, and guide the creation of innovative solutions from concept to prototype.  You'll also play a key role in evolving our brand identity across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire the design team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
• Lead user research efforts to understand our customers' needs and pain points deeply
• Oversee the design process for all products, from initial concepts and wireframes to interactive prototypes and polished UI designs
• Develop and maintain a cohesive design strategy that aligns with Mapon’s business goals and vision
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to bring concepts to life
• Ensure brand consistency and elevate our visual language across all customer touchpoints, including our website, marketing materials, and product interfaces
• Use data and user feedback to evaluate and improve design performance
• Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure Mapon remains at the forefront of design excellence

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior design role, with at least 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and growing a design team
• A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create user-centered design solutions for complex products
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma and user research platforms
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design ideas and strategies
• A user-centered design approach and a strong understanding of usability principles
• Experience working in a tech company or with SaaS products is a plus
